Calendar Sharing---- Shared:Edit Settings NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Calendar Sharing---- Shared:Edit Settings NOT WORKING PROPERLY - Users - How do I? | Google Groups:

"Ok I now I think I understand how this all works.

If you export from one Google calendar as I did using the 'Private
Address' ICAL address (basic.ics) file, then the resulting ics file
will have a CLASS:PRIVATE entry for all entries in the file.

If you export from the Google calendar using the 'Calendar Address'
ICAL address, AND the calendar is made public, then resulting ics file
will have all the entries with an entry CLASS:PUBLIC. [I did not test
with some manually set to Private in the Google calendar before
export]

If you export from the Google calendar using the 'Calendar Address'
ICAL address, AND the calendar is NOT made public, then the resulting
ics file will have lots of 'busy' entries and no real entries.

OK so here is what I did.

I have a Google calendar I want to keep with all the entries that I
want, but because in the past I imported them from another Google
calendar, all the entries in the Google Calendar are 'Private' and not
'Default' as I want. To get them all to be 'Default' I did:

1: Export to 'Private Address' ICAL file: I generated a basic.ics file
and placed it on the desktop. Then create"

Google Apps calendar broken when embedded

Google Apps calendar broken when embedded - Users - Troubleshooting | Google Groups:

"Hi all,

Let's break these two issues apart:

Google Calendar Gadget for your start page - we're aware of this issue
and still working on a fix. The current workaround is as follows:

1. Log in to your start page, then click on the 'Google Calendar' link
on the gadget. Your calendar should load.
2. Go back to your start page, then, refresh the page. The Calendar
gadget should now appear with appropriate links and options.

I'll pass your comments on to the team in order to escalate the
priority of our investigation.

Embedded Google Calendar - similarly to what DLW suggests, I suspect
this problem is related to privacy settings. If you're trying to embed
multiple calendars in one frame, you'll have to make them all public.
Alternatively, if you're trying to embed a private calendar, make sure
you're using the Private HTML Address.

For more info, please see our Help Center at
http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=82902

If my comments don't quite address what you're experiencing, please
post back with more details on how to reproduce the issue and the
browser you're using when this behavior occurs.

Cheers,
Becky"

Create events reoccurring every (x) days BEYOND 14

Create events reoccurring every (x) days BEYOND 14 - Users - How do I? | Google Groups:

"Ok, finally got it. To clarify for anyone else, you must TYPE EXACTLY
WHAT YOU WANT on the quick add entry line.
So you have to click quick add and then type 'Server payment on the
26th all day every 30 days'. I was trying to use the built in forms
that for some silly reason won't let you go over 14 days. I knew I was
missing something, I didn't realize an even could be created this way.
It still doesn't make any sense to me why you can't do it the normal
way but I digress.

Thanks for the help Gerry."

My calendar is gone! What happened and what can I do?

My calendar is gone! What happened and what can I do? - Users - Troubleshooting | Google Groups:

"Howdy everyone,

So, glancing at the Help Group threads, I often see a lot of reports
saying, “my calendar has vanished” or something similarly alarming and
understandably distressing. I’m hoping that I can throw out a few
scenarios to help confront these issues proactively and reduce the
amount of time you’re all waiting for an answer or assistance.

There are generally 4 different situations to explain the “my-calendar-
is-gone” woes:

1. The calendar in question still appears in your list of calendars
but is unchecked. Checking this box should display your events. If
checking the box has no effect and it’s your primary calendar (the one
at the top of the list) – go to #3 below.

2. If the events on your primary calendar aren’t displayed (even when
calendar box is checked), it’s possible that you or someone sharing
the calendar accidentally cleared the calendar. A primary calendar is
cleared of events by selecting the trashcan icon next to this calendar
in the Settings menu > Calendars tab. We can’t restore events on a
deleted primary calendar :(

3. You have multiple Google Accounts and you’re logged in to the wrong
one. Sign in with alternate email addresses to see if your events and
calendars appear.

4. An entire secondary calendar is missing from your list of calendars
in the Settings menu.

- Please contact us via email to resolve this issue further. While we
encourage posting in the Help Group when possible, some matters
require sharing email addresses and personal calendar names. To
contact us regarding deleted secondary calendars, go to
http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/request.py and select
"Get
help with a technical issue." Next, choose "Access & Loading
Issues"
and read through the info to reach a contact form.

In your email, you should include:
o The email address used to sign in to Google Calendar
o The name or names of any deleted secondary calendars
o A link to this thread

Thanks for reading,
Becky

Renewal Problems

Renewal Problems - Fix A Problem | Google Groups:

"Hi Charlie,

This is a tough one. Here's a couple of things to try:

1) Go to the Google Checkout page: http://checkout.google.com/support
and login. Look at purchase History. You should see the Purchase
History. On the left had side of the page is 'Edit payment methods'.
Correct your payment information.

2) Click on View the canceled order. There is a link for Contact
Google Apps about this order. Fill out this form and submit it. There
may be a link that says Click here to retrieve your purchase. I don't know where
this goes. Perhaps you can resubmit. I received a server error.

3) After fixing all of this and sending in the contact information,
and if the issue has not been resolved go back to your GApps Control
Panel and login. Click on the domain names link. Make sure the Renew
automatically is still checked. If not, check it and save.

Hopefully this will lead you to a quick resolution. I know that if
someone forgets to check automatically renew that the process should
complete - probably as long as you are in the 30 day grace period.
There have been some problems so there is not a 100% statement but
it's suppose to work this way.

dfwfoodie.com redirects to start.dfwfoodie.com : jake - Fix A Problem | Google Groups:

"Jake,

The following instructions assume that www.dfwfoodie.com goes to your
blog as desired.

There are some forwarding problems when the domain name is purchased
from Google. Remove the 3 A records pointing to Google servers: These
will typically have the following IP addresses in the record:
64.233.179.121, 66.249.81.121, and 72.14.207.121. Document these
records for possible future use. As of right now, we have seen that
you can safely remove these records and GApps will still work.

Add a Frame Redirect record with @ pointing to www.dfwfoodie.com.

WAIT for up to 48 hours for all necessary servers to be updated with
the new dns information.
