GoDaddy domain registration. I would like www.mydomain.com to resolve to google apps - Fix A Problem | Google Groups:

Should you want www.mydomain.com to point to the Home page you created
by the new Google sites, You will want to do things differently. You
won't follow the above instructions. Set a CNAME so www points to @.
Then Forward http://mydomain.com to http://sites.google/a/mydomain.com/sitename/Home.
You'll have to check with your Service Host to see how a Forward
should be done. To easily get the sites url, just go to your sites
Home page. That will be the url you want to use.
